IMO go for a face lift model 04 on,definetly diesel for the amazing torque and economy. You might be lucky enough to find a manual if that suits, thats my only regret a manual would have been nice and no PROBLEMS!!!!!

i have a 2001 x5 3.0i its good never had any major problems and it cost me around $80 every 2 weeks to fill up here in hawaii...i wonder how much is it to fill up v8 x5

The V8 X5 should have the same fuel tank... only that we fuel it up every week :)

The X is not the most reliable of all vehicles. I have a 2003 3.0 and have had my fair share of issues. Most of them I fix myself, which saves me a ton on money. With that said, I would not trade it for anything right now. I absolutelly love it!!!

94K Miles on her now

:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow: Absolute robbery and rape!!!!! At our peak here in Missouri I was spending a hair over $100, still half of your prices.
