depends on what kind of stains... hard water? rubber? tar? or do you just want to polish it?

I'm not sure what kind of stains you have, but the best product for me has been simple green. I spray it on and let it sit for a minute or so...I then take a soapy sponge and presto...no stains. If you have grease, you should wipe with a dry towel before you apply the simple green.....Phil

Have you tried Auto-Sol

Yes I was thinking of that but thought it might be a bit to harsh

I reckon Auto-Sol or peek would be just fine. H'mmm there is this other stuff I'm away to look for web site.

I'm having the same problem with mine...a brownish stain around the rubber treads.

I use Mother's aluminum polish...works great, including those brownish stains around the black buttons.
