Ok, I need to replace lenses that are clouded on the INSIDE and I want to upgrade to HID projectors at the same time, that's the difference I wasn't getting initially.

Quite a lot of reviews on UK magazines(check Autoexpress) rave about the Philips Blue vision bulbs, and in my experience ,they are absolutely right!Been using them for years on all my cars. They are long lasting as well. The bulbs give out a white light (4500 k) which on my X5s main beam , is a good match for the factory xenon dip beam. |
you can get an aftermarket H7 hid kit but if you plan on changing the headlight assembly as well than get a hid compatible angel light assembly and that will take D2S for low beam bulb. i replaced my non angel light oem projectors to angel light option DEPO set and used my oem hids but now i am upgrading to 75whid kit for more brightness

Wow the whole time I t thought I had HID :dunno: , since with the lenses it looks like an HID headlamp. I wound up purchasing the Sylvania Ultra's H7 bulbs locally, they look great. Thanks for the info.
