Spark Plugs
Does anyone have and recommendations on type of sparkplug for the 3.0? or should I just stick with the stick ones from the dealer? is there an article on how to change sparkplugs out here?

Use only factory BMW plugs or OEM equivalent. Leave the Champions in your lawn mower and run away from those Split Fire plugs. Just my .02

dejavoo: I'd go with stock plug, too; just check your manual: it gives a replacement code...both NGK or Bosch fit fine. Hit the net: dozens of places to get them from or, the stlr whom may charge a lot more, but may be convenient for you. Basic ques. is why do you think you need new plugs? 50K miles easy, and maybe good to 100K, these days.

well I was looking down the 60 mile check up and it said that they change out the sparkplugs so I was gonna do it myself. the idle has gotten a little rougher...I wonder if that has to do with it.

At what intervals would you recommend changing the plugs in the 4.4i and 3.0i motors? Mark |
