LOL, I am replacing so much already, I need to get that done before all these damn parts take over my garage.

What did you pay for yours. I see you are in Copenhagen.

Genuine BMW part (only) in Denmark is around $1500!

German eBay is around $390 for the same part from the same manufacturer...

RealOEM $645

Damn, that is a lot of bread. Honestly I was expecting you to say over $1000 though. Not too bad for a new unit. I am going to live with it for now. Trying to get the car back to 100% before swapping out parts that are still working. Thanks.

When an alternator starts to whine like crazy it's on it's way out. When you're ready I have the genuine BMW alternators available HERE.

Engine whine

It was the pulley that bolts to the alternator, not the alternator

Baber9310 01-23-2012 12:38 AM

I would check all the pulleys first before you spend the money

Great price @ ECS Tuning!

I don't understand what you mean here. Do you have a part number? Thanks.

SlickGT1 01-23-2012 12:30 PM

Is this what you mean. Part number 6

That happens on occasion as well. The pulley can be found HERE for build dates before 12/2003. The pulley for after 12/2003 can be found HERE.
