Is these bushings good to used ? is there a write up on how to install on upper and lower control

I love them, jut had a set of Powerflex thrust arm bushings installed back in October, do a search, you'll find more info that way.

How have they been treating you? Do you get squeaks or anything like that when it gets colder?

You must be a glutton for punishment going with hard bushing around the Bronx NY area.

Ive had the purple urethane bushing in for a couple months now. The ride quality hasn't change much. I highly recommend them.

Google E53 tension arms for write ups. I had a shop install them for $80.

I would recommend them for almost everywhere EXCEPT the rust belt states, the roads are trashed in the NY area.

..the more of a reason to go urethane IMO. You won't go replacing the tension struts every 20K.

Harder bushings transfer more shock to the chassis/subframe, not a good if the roads you drive are trashed. Have you ever driven over the Whitestone Bridge in March? There are 2 inch thick steel plates that the road crews have placed over the missing sections of roadway, pothole you can look down thru and see the river below :wow:, all this at 60 mph. This is a 2 1/2 ton truck with uni-body construction, I would expect metal fatigue and possibly subframe damage.

These aren't metal. Theyll still give.

I know what they are, I've used them on my tracked ZR1 Vette and Viper. You never answered the question, have you seen the roads that the OP is driving on???? There have been discussions on Bimmerforums about the poly bushings causing damage to the chassis of BMWs.
