Sundayjumper - Did you ever get in touch with the Armspluss people and is it fixed?

bastereo 02-04-2012 09:10 PM

Well that makes 3. I need them too. Any luck?

I searched and missed this post.

Emailed them; no reply.

I'm investigating getting some polyurethane bushes made up instead.

Who's doing that for you? I would be interested in a set.

Make that 4

Make that 4. I'll change mine too, just as a preventative maintenance procedure since they're still OK... or at least LOOK ok! The X alignment was good but I know that doesn't last too long.

LOL.... me :)

There's two ways of doing it and I've not decided which to go for. You can buy solid polyurethane rod and machine it to fit, or you can get liquid polyurethane and cast the bushes yourself. I'm leaning towards the latter and casting the bush straight into the arm so that it's an absolutely perfect fit.

If I do it, and it works, I'll post a write-up.

Just make sure that there are no offsets involved, otherwise it's gonna be a mess.
