That is a glass half empty approach.

I've replaced two now and the third is in the box on my bench. $165 each from Tischer. Not too difficult, just tedious.

I have the same exact problem.
I couldn't lock the door from either with remote or with unlock button.

Did research from here, got DLA from Tischer, and put them on.
It wasn't too hard. Just note it took them two weeks to deliver
Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem.
Two possibilities.

1. Bad Part From Tischer
2. Electrical Module Needs reprogramming?

What do you think I should do?
FYI I start having many problem after replacing Driver's window regulator. I had to replace the switch, and replaced entire cable assembly.

Maybe disconnect the battery. These cars are funny with electronics.

I have the exact same problem (front passenger door). Just got the door lock actuator delivered today. Planning on replacing it myself this weekend.

General Module failure will cause lots of wierd door lock problems.

I had the RF lock start to act slow, then not at all. I check ed the door harness connector and found GFS. I cleaned that and RF worked again. Now the LF doesn't work (sometimes). Gotta check for GFS at that door but I'm starting to suspect a failing General (Basic) Module.

Luckily I have a friend at the dealer who will let me swap one in to test.

Just replaced it yesterday afternoon, and it's working like a champ now. Had a small problem with the door lock indicator not going down on auto/electronic lock (worked on going up), but turns out it had to be seated in a specific way (had to soft click that it had to snap in to position once you have everything back on the door).

Between these 2 links, it's about 2 hrs job for DIY and going at a careful pace. Make sure to reconnect the exterior cable back on again. I forgot to do that before I got everything buttoned back on and had to remove everything again for a second time to reconnect the exterior cable.

Neither with doorlock button, or remote the lock pin won't budge.

I would need more description how to test & Troubleshoot General Module.

I had a trouble with folding mirror like forever. Driver's side mirror has been clicking/vibrating and not moving, and now passenger side mirror fold itself without no reason like forever. Is it possible because of GM issues?

I don't understand what RF(Radio Frequency?) means. But I need to rule it out since it won't work with a doorlock button.
