curious if this is available for the 4.8is and what would be a realistic expectation of gains other than throttle response?

What really? Can you PM or email me? I tried to PM you, and your box is full. I am interested. My car is 09/2005 4.8is. Can you update my cars software remotely as well?

KillCrap is the Man! When he says he does it- he knows what he's talking about. He did some programming with my E53 last year. Glad to know he's in Chicago-land like I am.

yes...killcrap gotta get back to me..very interested on the suggestions hes saying..just have to understand it more on whats going to happen to my x5 after.....the BENEFITS>..

There are a few cosmetic and functional changes that can be coded, such as lights, locking, and so on. You can get the speed limiter and rev limiter changed, but are those really performance upgrades? Naturally aspirated engines don't make appreciably more hp with just coding.

JCL, i completely agree. Without doing the host of other mods (intake, exhaust etc.), the software flash has no real appreciable gains other than a slight increase in throttle response.
