Did I mention anything about a code itself?
I mentioned about an OP.

Alright, I don't know if that code is rich or lean.
But if it us just one bank it has to be something that effects only the one side. So fuel pressure and anything in the intake before the throttle is out.
You have tried a number of things. My next step would be checking the fuel injectors, if it was me at least.
But if it is at the dealer, why are they giving you generic obd codes not BMW specific codes?

That's exactly what I think, why go generic if you should have a specific one handy.

Well, the dealer told me to put the BMW Fuel Additive $16 in the tank at full level and to add a second a full level and the light has since cleared itself. They found nothing mechanically wrong with it and they got BMW to assist in the diagnosis. My guess is the vehicle was bought as a REPO and I believe it sat somplace and built up carbon and who know what in the engine and the injectors. Worse case scenario I've been told is that I will need a Catalyst Converter. No codes for it yet though and I won't be replacing Bank 2 anytime soon as the vehicle only has 77k miles on it. Thanks everyone for you input.
