P1093 Code

All: I am getting this code that the fuel to too lean on bank 2. I have replaced all parts directed to this code: 02 sensors pre-cat, disa valve, elbow tube, fuel relay switch, fuel filter, MAF sensor. What about the fuel breather vent or fuel tank corrosion. Somthing is fishy here.

The dealer has no clue what it is after $567 and still CEL. I have had 2 engine flushes and 4 cans of additive. I will add one more can of additive. Any suggestions. The car sat too long I know in Texas heat -- it was a repo. I have also replaced the TCU got damage also from sitting that long. Anyone with any advice -- the dealer can't even help.

Should be a vacuum leak of torn intake boot of some kind.

They smoked it. No vacuum leaks. We are out of options.

I don't know what this is. They reprogrammed the DME twice. What is the flash?

richkid 04-06-2012 12:41 PM

A rich condition could be caused by several things. You could have a faulty fuel pressure regulator a leaking fuel injector or even a clogged air filter. There are a couple of service bulletins that pertain to rich mixture faults but without the BMW fault code. It could be a programming issue

BMW cannot detect an issue. Is the faulty fuel pressure regulator the fuel breather vent that plugs into the throttle body?

Flash=reprogram
