I'm looking at the Kenwood KSC-SW10 Kenwood KSC-SW10 Compact powered subwoofer at Crutchfield.com

Or the Kicker 11HS8
Kicker 11HS8 Hideaway™ compact powered subwoofer: 150 watts and an 8" sub at Crutchfield.com

As replacements whichever will fit the neatest.

What brand/model subwoofer are you using that went bad twice? Or did you use two different brands? Some kind of bad luck there going out twice.

And, of course, the seats look great!

Thanks man. And I'd say it's not bad luck as well as the product sounds great but is made poorly. I'd purchased a Pyle PLBASS8 unit and had it repaired under warranty twice (both times having to uninstall & ship bak2 manufacturer, wait weeks, then reinstall). After the second time they fixed my original unit and it broke again, I told them they had to send me an all new unit. But they didn't have any in stock in the size I needed by the brand Pyle (they only had the 10" model which is too big to fit in the armrest space). They told me they had the Lanzar VCTBS8 in stock new and since it is an identical unit/same manufacturer with different branding I agreed to take it. Well new unit or not it suffered exactly the same fate as the Pyle unit (I think PILE is a more accurate descriptor for BOTH units).

So at some point I will be switching it up. U realize just how much u miss the sound of the unit when u hit a bump and it reanimates for 40 seconds (I've checked all connections many times, it's definitely the units failing).

I can only imagine the frustration. Well, now people know what NOT to buy. Hopefully what you end up with will be trouble free. Would love to hear your system if you come down for Mpact.

Replaced the original unit with a Kenwood KSC-SW10 unit. It does have bottom end punch but the bass sound is not as round as the Lanzar/PYLE units. There's another Kicker unit that will fit as well but that another $300

wow that looks great! and while its not leather, the leatherette will last for years to come.

I like how you did the piping and a subtle color - good job, great taste
