You're not missing out on anything :confused: its just a shitty old motorola flip phone. I have one in mine, doesnt work, never has, never will!

I removed the phone module from the underside of the console 6 months ago as everytime I lifted the top portion to get to my console bin it was blowing my #73/4 (cant remember now) fuse which was my MID. Obviously there was a short in the module somewhere so I cut it out and binned it. :popcorn:

you are welcome... this antenna was in the car before i got the car, and i DID add a cradle's holder with a pairing button later, I just did not add a "phone-specific" cradle, as it seems that BMW does not have cradles for the phone i use... besides, cradle only helps you charge the phone, right? not all phones have antenna connector availalble, right?

I still do not know what this antenna does - could it be the "new and improved" BT antenna, that is sitting inside the cabin and not in the trunk? I need to look in the RealOEM now...
