Display problem

Adding to the question my 2001 x5 was jump started and the display doesnt work. bought a fuse checker and it appears all fuses working.... Any thoughts and also does anyone know what fuses operate that display I might just replace them even after checking them and finding them working.

Thank you

John

Cuban, your says that it has been "prepared" for a CD changer, but it doesn't say that you have one.. all it means, that if you buy a CD changer (new or used), all do, just plug the 6-pin and 3-pin plugs, mount the case, and voila - it is working...
Romeo has S672A option, which actually is a CD changer...

now another thing do i have heated mirrors because i need to replace the passenger side mirror and i dont know if i need heated or nonheated and for some reason they look like there a little bluish

TerminatorX5 09-03-2012 09:54 PM

you have a V8, heated mirrors were standard on those, the option was autodimming ones - the heated ones are with blue tint, and the heated with autodip are pplain white, as they turn blue under special blinding conditions...
i think even the 6 cylinder ones had heated mirrors...

benny, on your monitor, can you see any information? like, very dimmed, visible under certain angle? or, the screen is totally dead? when you turn ignition on, any flickers on the screen?
