Hi guys, sorry to bump an old thread, but I wanted to get a bit more description on the vibration before I take my car to the shop here - the garages will swap out anything that you suggest might be faulty and charge you big time for replacing it, even if it's good, so I wanted to know; do they vibrations get worse when the car is cold? In the summer here when temps push 45C, the car has been fine, but in the 'winter' when it cools down to less than 25, the buzzing is really bad from a cold start, particularly when left outdoors outside my work. I can't show my usual mechanic cos his workshop is a 25 minute drive from my house, and by the time I get there the buzzing is completely gone. It is definitely worse in reverse gear and better in Neutral while idling and standing on the brake; the AC makes a very slight difference if it is on or off. So is it likely to be the mounts, or something else? I will try the engine tilt trick tomorrow with luck
