Electrical HELP!!!!

Hi,
My wife decided that her 96 X5 4.4 cargo compartment needed a bath so she dumped on gallon of water into the cargo well.
Nothing seemed to get damaged in the well, the Sirius works, PDC works, the radio turns on and so does air suspension

Now I have no sound from Speakers, just subwoofer
Pulled all the radio fuses, can it be the amp? It never got wet.
Are their any other fuses or relays beside the 3 listed?

2nd problem She said sunroof stopped working so I pulled sunroof Fuse, now all the inteior lights do not work, Nothing not manually not with door, tried the 3 secong hold on the main lamp NOTHING. Is there another set of fuses besides glove box and cargo, lamp fuse is fine

I pulled the negative cable for 45 minutes.

Does Anybody have online wiring diagram? BMW Repair manual?

Dude what? A gallon. That is like a lot of water. That's a ton of electrical equipment in there. Yes there are fuses under the cover. Take out cover and start looking. Follow the positive cables.

If I need to replace AMP is there a clean easy(read:no wire cutting) aftermarket install?

One more weird thing...the SUB still makes sound.

Any further thoughts on Lights? BMW seems to have tied light madule with Radio according to wiring diagram.

Bump...

Water storage area, I had the same thing

I had the very same issue happen, the ait suspension blem the pas air ride bag, then the compressor, but also the circuit control box the starts and stops the air ride compressor to run, so that will suck the money out of your wallet, I had the indy take out the drain plug and no troubles since, my recom, is to leave that plug out mine was almost half way up to the spare tire, so it was overfull, and I dont know where it was entering the back but no more since !!!!

WTF??????????

Reminds me on when my friend's FIL drove his 968 into a puddle thinking it was a few inches deep, and surprise, the water went up to the windshield. Had the car not been less than 1 year old ($95K new) it would have been totaled. Repair cost: $36K at an independent shop; most of the repair bill was for modules and front end wiring harness.

The front firewall area of the Porsche looks very similar to the spare tire well/rear inner fenders of the X5. Nothing but wires and electronics everywhere you look. This is NOT an area to get wet.

I think this was your wife's way of telling you: "Honey, from now on it is your job to clean my car. Look at what happens when I do it!"

This doesn't exist.

Thanks for being the a$$**le of the thread, your input has solved my problem.

On another note this may be the worst forum I have ever been a part of, I asked for some sort of practical advice from other X5 owners and I get I drowned a car once and a smartass know nothing.

Here is the answer the AMP is dead, the sub will still work since it does not use the same crossover as the speakers.
Honestly you want me to pay $35 to be a premium member when I get zero assistance from the group.

My lights did not work since I moved the fuse 1 over, How about a resource of the fuses and there amperages.

in the spare tire well is a box mounted vertically with a white cover, there are several large red wires heading into it, pull the white cover and check the fuses there, they are a flat anl type fuse and there are several
