Perhaps it needs to be coded on...although mine has auto up/down...so maybe a PO coded it off at one point. :dunno:
Or...does your anti-trap feature work? Take a rolled up newspaper or towel and place it in the window's path...then attempt to close the window. If the window does NOT stop when it begins to pinch the towel/paper (or sacrificial stuffed animal) and roll back down an inch or so...then the problem is your anti-trap mechanism. If it's not plugged in or has failed...auto up won't work.

Good call - I will try anti-trap and let you know - you may be on to something - If it does work then I guess its just a feature that needs to be turned on -
I have a door carrier and window regulator clips ready to go in my door in the next week or so on that side so I will inspect wiring for anti-trap when its open as well
HOWEVER - if the anti-trap function DOES work currently, then perhaps killcrap was on to something in saying that the passenger side window switch might be fried and not enabling the feature?
