XP mode in Windows 7 Premium/Ultimate works fine. It creates and runs a VM of 32bit XP. NCS Expert and all other tools work.

That's what I said above was needed...

Most people have Windows 7 home basic/premium.

If you have a Windows XP cd, you can download Virtual PC for free and get the same functionality.

Shouldnt a list of chassis show up on impa upon startup? and when i press script i get:

ah, something is not working for you...
I recommend you dual boot with XP. create a 60Gb partition on your hard drive and install windows on it. At startup you have option which os to boot up from..

than I can hook you up with software needed with instructions ready to go..

looks installed wrong... what version do you have? Im running inpa 93-03.
bmw stopped using inpa now they have isis or isa

IIRC, there are 2 applications of INPA. One of them will give you the error. I'll check on which one later. Or you just try to double click on the other one and see.
