Goodbye Eonon. Hello Dynavin!

Hi All,
So. I bought an Eonon D5124A, (google it).
Well, what a piece of shit!!!!
The issues were endless.
It would change the input everytime you got in the car.
It wouldnt keep any setting you put it on.
It had so many issues, I cant go into it now.
The worst thing was, it had no radio reception at all.

Anyway, after a lot of crap, I returned the unit and got a full refund.

So today I recieved the newest Dynavin E39A D99+.
Although it required modification to the framework, it seems to be well worth it.
It gets radio reception
Parrot bluetooth works a treat,
It has a simple menu layout that is easy to navigate.
It looks as close to OEM as I have seen for an aftermanket,
and unlike Eonon or Hualingan, Dynavin seem to be actively improving their product and give customer support.

Shit, I just read back what I wrote and maybe I should get commission off Dynavin. Ha Ha.

Ill keep yall posted on how it goes.
Cheers Ben.

Good to know your review on Eonon unit. I wondered why it costs about half of the Dynavin, and there's the answer.
Keep us posted on the Dynavin too since I really want to replace the outdated 4:3 Nav in my wife's X5.

Does Dynavin work with DSP? That's my huge issue, I have DSP and nothing aftermarket seems to work (except my USA Spec iPod interface lol)

I have the Dynavin E39 D99+ as well and installed it myself in my 4.8is. I had DSP and ended up running RCA's from the headunit to the rear. Bought an 800 watt amp and deleted the DSP amp, bluetooth and CD changer. Had to include 2 adjustabole noise reducers for the alternator whine. Those are in behind and below the head unit. Modifying the space for the new frame was ok but, do take your time on it.

All in all the Dynavin works great and got an Infinity basslink subwoofer to help with the thump, I wanted!

Good Luck!

Thanks Big J, but I'd definitely want to not mod the stock system if possible, just wanted the upgraded factory look the Dynavin has. Wonder if there was a way to adapt the DSP plug for the Dynavin.

Has anyone installed Hualingan or Dynavin with DSP?
