ECS or ESC tuning sells blacked out front grills. In terms of upgrades you should consider Osram / Sylvania LED 6418LED festoon bulbs for your license plate lights, door lights, under dash, glovebox, etc. No coding /error issues. Buy them at Autozone for about $9-10 each. Add rear seat foot area lights (in the forum), a 30 minute upgrade and well worth it. Weathertech trunk mat (minimum) and weathertech for the others. Bilstein B6 shocks. Do a SERIOUS fluid session for your two differentials, transmission and transfer case. When you change your cabin filter, remove the whole assembly (only a few nuts, easier than you realize) and wash the inside from 7+ years of crude - mine was unbelievably dirty (upstream of the filter). Dynamat inside your doors, makes a significant difference in sound system performance and your doors sound like a high end BMW when you close them.

Black wheels on black car is just too much for me. I would plasti-Dip 3 coats of black and 3 coats of Silver Metalizer on top. It will give a "mean" dark color wheels look with a little contrast with the car.
Here's what the wheel color should look like http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps6e19747c.png |

I agree! I am not a huge fan of the flat black on black. tmv, on that E39 5-series - is that plastidip??

The wheels were powder coated gloss black. That's not my style but they're too good of a deal.
I have 5 coats of plasti-dip Silver Metalizer on top of it. |
