dipyourcar.com has a charcoal grey that you might like. This is their video on the charcoal grey. GunMetal Gray Plasti Dip - Wheels and Rims - DipYourCar.com - YouTube It shows the entire process.

Waiting for Anthracite. Thought about doing black but I know what you mean. I wish I could see actual pictures of black, gunmetal and charcoal with and without silver metalizer thrown in.

I just ordered a can of charcoal grey and the glossifer from dipyourcar. I am going to see what it looks like with black X on style 87s. Will post a picture when it is completed next week.

I did my dirtbike wheels earlier this year and they survived a weekend in Moab with no problems.

Thanks - I am very eager to see. Wondering if that is all "anthracite" is or if it is really just another shade of grey. Everything I have seen with the metalizer in it so far looks great. They should have more examples of this on their web site.
Does the metalizer just go on as a final coat I would imagine? Quote:

Hahah! I did the front with the tire on. The rear I had a friend with a shop put on. I don't know how he did it. Lol. I usually change my own tires and I always scratch the black ano. |
So kinda blows they don't sell the new colors in the wheel kits yet so it's a little more expensive...
