Anyone else have a suggestion??

Quicksilver, my first post says HELLO ALL. Any words of advice? With over 16k posts I would think you would know pretty much all about the X5. I have been trying to post for 3 days now but was not cleared yet.

you should try a local locksmith - they should be able to help you out. worst case scenario, a busted glass is not really that bad, just decide which glass you want to replace...

what do you drive?

I have read that most locksmiths cannot get in. I also was told the small rear window cheapest. I read slim jim impossible. I am waiting for UCrewx5 to PM me with instructions on a way without breaking a window.
I also read about drilling thru the rear hatch behind the back up lights but when I removed them it wasnt clear enough on where to drill.

i don't think Ucrew or anyone with a slightest knowledge will take a chance to divulge this information even over a PM to an unidentified person. I understand that you may have a valid, pressing need to get into your vehicle but this is a public forum open to all members of the worldwide society with all backgrounds... as such, we will gladly discuss your tire options or choice of gasoline brand but nobody will risk a liability and provide you, or any other other member of a new standing with info on entering into the car without a key...

think of the key as a password to your car - when you lose a password to your AOL account, in order to get back you must verify your identity before a company employee who has a service access... same here...

try a locksmith... call AAA if you have the membership... you will have much quicker response there...

everything he just said^^^^^ plus

if you are referring to the small window passed the actual rear window, thats actually the most expensive ive been told, not due to the actual part but the labor needed to get it in.

I believe everyone else summed it up nicely. Try AAA
