Awesome to hear you are removing the 3.0 badges, one of the first things I did, I hate badges and remove them on all my cars, the company emblem is all that ever stays. Much cleaner look IMO.

The black wheels look AWESOME! very impressed and nice to see a different look on the forums, I'm with S, I think a subtle drop would be nice, but not necessary, I'm guessing you don't have sport package? Those usually have a 15mm lower stance if I remember correctly. Titan hood vents for sure will finish the black/silver look and give you some nice contrast!

And you're right about the chrome underride/bull bars, they are about 800-900 bucks if you can find one, its an extremely heavy duty piece!


Oh and btw S, I recommend the smoked side markers from ebay (I think you can find them made by Depo with chrome amber bulbs), I bought my set 2 years ago and its held up nicely, in my opinion the smoked markers blend into the side strips better and make the lines flow, whereas the white/clear markers make it look like the door rubstrips just were "forgotten" on the fender in my opinion.

Meh, I've never really been a fan of smoked/tinted lights anywhere on a vehicle...more often than not they look too aftermarket to me. My theory is that since no oem's really use smoked lenses, once on my vehicle, it would be something easily identifiable as being aftermarket. I try to keep my mods OEM looking....so to the uninitiated, my X would only appear slightly different from the next when in actuality its been modded quite a bit.

Ya the depos look oem, have them in clear and smoked ive seen them before.. Im wanting them to disappear into the side i think the weischlicht will do this job nicely.

As far as the window sticker for my 06 says i have the sport/premium or premium/ sport package.. Cant remember off hand
My 04 had sport and also looked higher on 20's..
- i think its an optical illusion since the entire radius with tires is smaller than that of stock 18s with tires.

^^ I concur. The gap around the wheels also tends to vary quite a bit depending on what angle you take a picture from. It always seems to look larger on pics than it is in actuality.

It was getting dark by the time I got around the the rear so crappy pic, pics with flash reflected off lic plate and rear reflectors too much to see anything else

As promised here's the Weishlicht side markers LEDs and the shadow grill.. Also just for Ricky Bobby ( and so I could see if I wanted the contrast or not I kinda set the skid plate by there without drilling holes... I F****n looove the side markers!!

Looks awesome, keep that skid plate silver it will give some good contrast.

Looks awesome, what kind of bulb do you have on your AE? They look pretty bright to be OEM.

They're an led o some kind based on color...but perceived brightness looks brighter from the pictures exposure. In reality they won't be near as night as they look in the pic (goes for just about any angel eye bulb swap on these trucks).

Hey C, what's the side marker look like in the daytime brightness-wise? How does it compare to the brightness of the factory bulb?

They are weisslicht angel eye upgrade bulbs from bimmian
They arent as BLUE as the pics but they are super bright even in daylight.
I believe theres even a newer upgrade to this than the model i have.
