^I don't have the one from Bimmian. I get the Made-in-China one on eBay for $45 :stickpoke
The cylinder looking thing is the head sink for the LED. I place it outside the housing. |

ArmyX5, any kind of warranty from Bimmian? (I expect at least 1 year) |
tmv,
I have had the $45 made in china for a least two years now with no problem. I was looking for something brighter which, the weisslicht seem to be. Ricky, I am going give them another try. I rechecked all the connection after turning the lights off and letting it cool down, they are working again. I am placing the cylinder outside and see what happen. |
Man that sucks mine have been running strong for over a year on 2 different x5s!!
Id give them a call the are very helpfull and sure they will make things right.. The plastic cylinder thing is anti flicker no error device.. I just tuck it back in the tub away from the light.. Maybe defective? Maybe too close to the aluminum heat sink of the led? I tuck it back as far as i can inside.. You might try without it or there is another set of wires in there i didnt need, you may need to connect those.. Looks like there is install site on back of box.. Www.weisslicht.com Sorry! Dont kill the messenger! :p |
^^ oh just saw your next post... Whew glad they are working!!

Not, you are good brother. I drove with the lights on all day and their are still working. I moved the cylinder around, but I don't want to push them in too much because of the motors inside the adaptive headlight. I just deleted my side marker light and will be taking pictures tomorrow. Will post them soon after. |
