Sparkplugs?

So as im always looking for something to update and play with, im running out of filters, etc to replace..
What do you guys recommend for performance spark plugs?
Any other little performance mods out there worth messing with?

Spark plugs return no gain in performance. Just make sure to replace them every 100k miles.
How many miles on your X? Maybe differential fluid change and ATF too.

you have a 4.4 right man?

I would just replace with OE NGK plugs, no performance gains but your motor will like fresh plugs if you are near 100k.

Did mine on my M54 this summer (I have 70k now) and the plugs were definitely aged a bit after 10 years, she starts much nicer and idles a bit smoother, and no soft codes for misfires anymore either.

You can replace them at 72K. That is plenty long enough. This is fairly straightforward on a 6cyl 3.0. On my Miata I replace them every 10K, but that is a different situation.

on my 3.0 I replaced at 68k this year with fresh OEM NGK plugs and noticed much better performance, I say do it, the plug change will take you 30 mins tops for all 6.

20 mins with a government-level work eithic and 10 for a beer?

Did mine this summer at 120k (dealer was suppose to change them during my last inspection II....jokes on me apparently:rolleyes:)....anyways, you could definitely notice an improvement in idle smoothness and responsiveness.
