I'm not sure exactly how many years old the battery is, but I've never had any issues with it. While driving I have 13.5 to 14 volts. While idling, I have about 12.5 to 13v. Both seem very normal to me. What's odd, is that wheel ABS, DSC, and speedo don't work, there aren't any yellow lights on the dashboard.

while idling it should be up around 13.5 v .

:iagree:

Shouldn't dip below 13v idling

The only time it dips below 13v, is when the stereo with aftermarket subs is on. I have already tried completely disconnecting the amp for the subs, and that keeps it above 13v. The codes that the computer throws say that a speed sensor is out. Is it possible that the ABS module is shot, even with that code?

you either are due for an ABS module rebuild or a new sensor in my opinion

I always thought it was the driver side rear sensor assuming the car is a LHD car and not a RHD car.

It surely might be! I have to check blue bees posts on BF about the trifecta she details which sensor controls the speedo there.

That was just a guess off the top of my head!

To my knowledge, the rear left controls the speed sensor. But the rear right is responsible for cruise and odometer functions. However, I have a ton more issues than just those. When would the light trifecta show up? Why don't any of the lights illuminate, but everything is broken?

You have a voltage problem whoch could trip all those lights. 12.5 at idle is about a volt too low.

No. There are NO lights. That's the problem.

I have no idea, doesnt change the fact that you have low voltage though. Even if you solve the speedo issue, youre going to run in to other problems from voltage.

Cant help but think of my cluster issues other week after jump starting the X.
Just a suggestion but try pulling and testing all your fuses in the glove box and the rear hatch.. Non of mine ended up blown but either one was loose or pulling the certain fuse <have no idea which one(s)> did the tricl for me.. Easy place to start at least..
Cover your ears and make sure you have a flashlight on when you pull #14 in the glove box. ;)
