GLWS. I'm a believer that there are still some solid and attractive E53s out there. Like any used car, you have to dig and know what you're looking for. The E53 is an impressive vehicle, that offers classic styling, simplicity, and is far more reliable than it gets credit for. Love the V8s on them.

Agree with all of that. Additionally, Imola Red is the best color and adds a good 15-20hp right from the factory.

^I rather fly under the radar with my "stealth" Tit. Silver knowing that I'd never be able to keep mine under the speed limit. :D
It does look good in Imola Red, btw.

That is a total lie. The BLUE ones have the HP++ factory option installed. Just ask any owner. ::rofl:rofl:

I see your lemans blue and raise you sterling gray...

That is the fastest color! Hence, why it was not allowed in the US.

At least we all agree that Black was the slowest of the colors. According to the Interwebs, many were actually shipped with a 4.4 installed.

Im pretty sure this was the one in Great Neck with 47k and aero package put on after. I test drove this car, it's a nice x5...he spent a LOT of money on that alpina carbon trim. There was also an alpina badge on the glove box with a serial number on it, not sure what it meant tho. Pretty sure the ECU was flashed too, as the rev limiter was a little higher than the rest.

Check this one out, especially the gorgeous interior!

I routinely check this drool fest of a website out as my hobby is to build any BMW I purchase to CCA quality. Basically leave no detail overlooked, impeccable condition, low mileage, and some degree of rarity (color, options, mileage, etc.).

^ He's dreaming on that price. Be lucky if he gets $17K for it. IMO, the alcantara looks awful.
