Also for you V8 guys, throwing in a bottle or two of these might help, considering the cold winter we've had:

Naz24 had a problem last winter with misfires and such, he thought it was intermediate levers, he threw a bottle of this in a fresh tank and it helped him out tremendously. Make sure there is no moisture in the fuel system!

CCV replacement didn't solve my cold start problem. I still got a flashing SES light after about 10 seconds of idling when cold. Shut it off, restarted and it went away. I guess it got a little better as it actually went away with one restart instead of a restart and holding the RPM's up for 2 minutes.

I'll give the "heat" thing a try to see if that helps.

I would throw 1-2 bottles in with a full fresh tank of 93, make sure its the Red Iso-Heet. Let me know if it helps. $7 for a 4 pack at Wal Mart

Off to Wal-Mart I go.

I'm at a 1/4 tank now so it would probably be the perfect time to put some in before filling up.

Yes it would. I await positive results :)

I just went to ten different stores, wal-mart, pep boys, autozone, advanced auto, target and a few other places. Every bottle of HEET was sold out. God damn this Polar Vortex.

I guess positive results will have to wait.

Happened to me the other day in wal mart as well, even the normal yellow bottle sold out.

Sorry to hear that man but I'm feeling good that most likely the red heet will help you! Winter is rough on vehicles and especially ours

I'll keep checking, the manager at Pep Boys told me they can't even order it.

Insane. It's probably sold out due to all the people that have had their gas lines freeze after parking their car overnight in sub-zero temps with an empty gas tank.
