What have you found in your E53 lately?
 

Ok, this could get interesting. I'm curious to hear what others may have found in their E53's while working on them or after a visit to their dealer or Indy for service. While removing the back seat of my E53 to get at the fuel pump, I found this:

The part number on the back is 6113 8366180, which according to Realoem, is for an E38! Wonder how it got under my seat... Didn't happen at the plant, I'm sure!

About 5-6 pairs of shoes that my wife left in it, everytime I drive it. :D

When I pulled my center consol I found, golf tees, lottery tickets, a bank receipt with a balance of a little over 3 grand, tee off pencils (or whatever they are called), and more golf tees. I even found more golf tees in the spare tire area.

A bag of cocaine... Just kidding :)


I keep mine pretty clean. So nothing really.

The first time I was detailing the X5 I found a lacy black G-string under the rear passenger seat floor mat :wow:

I grabbed some latex gloves, made sure my girl was no where in the area and proceeded to bury said panties as deep in the dumpster as possible.

It may have been a bit overboard but I never want to have to answer the question who's panties are these? When my girl is the one asking ;)

when I first got my x back in the summer 1 front plastic tow hook cover for the front bumper at the left rear pannel where you can add a cd changer . (found it 2 weeks after orderring a new one, oh well got a spare).

I know every single thing in mine, which isn't much.

My OCD doesn't allow papers in cup holders, garbage in door pockets or trunk area do my contributions to this thread aren't much lol.

And unlike Tam my wife can't drive my E53 as she is yet to learn to drive stick so she isn't able to leave shoes and shopping goodies in it lol!

you won`t find much in my x5 either other than sand right now because of the winter, but once the nice weather is back I`ll be taking a fine detailing brush and getting into all the little crevises , i`ll spend a good 4hrs just inside the x detailing it. and yes my wife says I have ocd issues lol
