I don't have a problem doing it myself . the only thing is I don't have to much room to do it and I don't want to do all that work and mess up something else. I called 2 shops the first one quoted me 2300 and the second one asked me to bring It in to have it checked out . I don't know what I am going to do I still need to fix the rear leveling system as well . do you guys think I should fix it or just sell it...

I just read a thread by ///Bruce where a water pump swap on an '03 M62 cost $2800. :wow: Just did my pump (and new belts) for under $200 in one day. :bustingup It's a plus knowing everything was done right/not rushed, and torqued to specs. |

If you really like it, fix it. Try to DIY as much as possible. Never too late to start learning. Maybe paying a local DIYer (who knows what he's doing) to help you out. |
I called a shop that specializes in BMW they quoted me $2300 . I explained to them the situation and noise and they basically said they will need new chain guides tensioners etc. my question is once I do this and I decide to sell what can I expect to get for the car? I really love the car . but I still have to ad a new battery , fix the rear suspension and a few small things. can I expect to sell it for 8K If I fix all the issues?
Thanks |
