So I was looking into having the Levers on the cylinder heads redone by BMW dealer, they wanted $4100 ,to do the project, I asked about the Valve Stems job, they want $7671, THAT"S F-CKIN $11771 for a problem from SIB .
I am having Mspec doing both the projects for $4600 .;)

Not mine,I did some research on MSpec in queensNY, That is from Mspec home page, and they did that work this month.............so they have experience doing engine work.
I gone through a bunch of BAD SHOPS with my 4.6is and was taken to the cleaners and ended up with a broken X5 and having to pay K$.

Do a little more research I did mine myself it did not cost that much or if you want a shop do it for you check out MNC Performance they do it all day every day. Good luck I can tell you its very time consuming. The kit the dealer sells to do the heads should run you $800.

This is who did my heads for me machine world. About Machine World NY this is who the dealer use for most of there jobs.

Dayamn. Good luck. I think when the time comes. I will be buying the tools to do it myself and pray for the best. Let us know how it goes.
