It was interesting to hear that the service manager where I had my oil change / xDrive fluid change done today literally knew nothing about the recall. I provided him a copy of the January Email to dealers, January letter I received and emails to customer service with their response. He said he would get into it and if possible just order the part and goodwill it after I gave him my sad story that began in Oct 13. That response shows me he really didn't know anything about it. I bet if he tries to order the part he won't be able to since the new and improved part is simply not available and they aren't distributing the old part anymore.
