hey,
just spent the last hour workin on a set of x5 headlights. Denlensed and cleared the amber out. The porjectors look pretty beastly. Im trying to thinkin of something creative to do to that corner. The chrome bothers me. Maybe spray it, black out the amber? not sure yet. Ill get pics up soon -mike |

wow good job!
i was actually thinkin abou ttaking a piece side piece of the ambe reflector and blacking it out. Just liek that! I admit also i got a small big of gue on the refelctor too. i got most of it out. However it looks like even the factory did a bad job at keeping these chrome pieces clean. did you black the actual chome or the orange lense? -mike |
damn good idea there, willi!

What'r the consequences of removing the lense in front of the low beam projector?

I have no clue about the X5 porjectors.
I have an e36. removing the glass on those has minimal scattering. very minimal. from what i've read -mike |
