Thanks I'm going to order the part now.. You sure it's the 2.25 inch magna flow xpipe right? A local shop told me they have xpipes but they aren't stainless steel.. Any comments on the Benifits of using stainless steel?

They don't rust as easily. I wouldn't do non stainless.

Only difference is Magnaflow makes one that is polished stainless, but yes whenever working on exhaust you always want Stainless Steel. Keep us filled in on how the exhaust goes, looking forward to a sound clip.

i'm fitting a 4.8iS exhaust on my 3.0 next week and perhaps down the line would do Xpipe if more sound is needed.

Yeah you're probably gonna wanna delete the resonator also because it deffinately takes a lot from the sound ppl are looking for

Honestly I wish I had a sound clip , but for a 3.0 it sounds mean, it's not as loud as the 4.4 but it is a huge difference, you hear the drone as you drive on the highway. The sport mode responds much better now

That's why I didn't do the X pipe. I didn't want drone on the highway
