Most likely you need a new transfer pump or make sure to keep the tank full.

Hello all so i filled up my tank and the sputtering problem still continued it was driving better with a full tank but the sputtering came back when it seemed to be underload so the out come was the main fuel pump as well as a clogged fuel filter.

Hello TQ2K that was about half of the soulution to this problem. At first I thought it was the sender pump and a clogged fuel filter but what it ended up being was the main fuel pump and a clogged fuel filter.
