So first issue in a long time with the x5, has a run of really cold weather here and got these error codes, Attachment 73145Attachment 73146
The o2 sensor says bank 2 but do I need to replace the upstream or down stream? And my inlet VANOS I will take and and try clean to see if there is any sludge in there.

Im not sure I see an o2 sensor code there....

what is leading you to replace the o2?

"after catalytic converter" seems pretty unambiguous.

I was just confused by the lambda probe and when I googled it, it was saying o2 sensor and really not sure what it all means other than my inlet Vanos is causing a code

Yes, "lamda probe" is o2 sensor

So is it saying I need a new? Sorry still learning what these codes mean and if it’s all related to my Vanos

0 voltage could be sensor or wiring problem. I would erase all codes and start fresh. Code only points to a problem in the circuit not necessarly the sensor itself. Maybe concentrate on the Vanos code first.

Quite honestly, 100k miles is right at the point of maintenance replacement of the o2 sensors.
