Wow, that was an event.. I am unfortunately in the same shoes but worse... my bearing has completely gone, see ya, checked out. both the three prong outta piece spins freely and the wheel that holds the belt spins freely too.. Do you still have your complete compressor that you didn't use? Would you sell it to me please...?

Mine was exactly the same. That's why I bought a replacement pully with the clutch and bearing assembly instead. The compressor I purchased was returned for a full refund. Sorry.
The bad part of these compressors isn't actually the compressor itself but the clutch/pulley/bearing assembly. |
Hi guys... looking for some help here from the guys that have been in my position... the bearing obviously is toast. I’ve got the clutch plate and pulley off but the inner sleeve of the bearing is on the shaft and I can’t get the puller arms to bite on anything....https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1420da32c5.jpg

Like I said in post 17, I used a Dremel with a small cut off wheel. Cut a slot and pried it off. Though I cut into the shaft it doesn't affect the pulley at all. But still be careful, you may get through it without cutting the shaft.
