Loose part location.
 

Please help me identify the location of this part i found loose behind the lower grill on my 2013 X5 M sport. Part number 511 8049073 LH I've looked everywhere under the front area and can not find where it belongs. The part number implies the Left Hand version but I can not find a similar part on the Right. Its approximately 5" H X 4" W. Thanks

Funny, mine keeps falling out of the holder on the driver left side. You can play with it by pulling out the foglight black plastic cover and accessing it from there. I put mine back on 100% but after driving on the freeway it pops loose again. Passenger side is OK.

Thanks, I've seen the breakaway of the picture on RealOEM snd pulled the fog light cover.. But it doesn't show me where the part belongs when it's in place. And I can not see the right side one! My kingdom for a photo.

Well I can tell you all five of the slits have a corresponding tab in the bumper/grill. You'll just have to feel for them. You can see what it should look like using the passenger side

Notice I said I could not see that part on the right!

Figured it out. A air deflector behind the lower grill. Now I just need to buy one for the right side. The part listed for $45.00! For a simple piece of plastic!:wow::wow:
