Brother, anytime you mess with exhaust bolts, there is a risk of them breaking. You can mitigate that risk by soaking them in WD-40 or PB Blaster for a few minutes.
I would recommend if possible, doing this with these bolts at warm temperature (not full hot operating temp, and not cold). That along with a good penetrating lube will usually do the trick for a trouble-free removal. Good luck! |
