Depends on where you purchase them. There have been counterfeit sensors sold on legitimate sites.

I get all my stuff like this from fcp, lifetime warranty.

That's great and all but I don't want to replace things twice in short order. For some parts, mostly sensors and other electrical parts, I just go to the dealer or purchase BMW parts from a trusted source like FCP Euro. Given the service interval or life of most of the parts, I don't feel like it's a lot of money to spend. O2 sensors are pretty easy to get to so good Bosch parts here are something I'd consider. I might have even used Bosch here.

I've had one BMW part go bad and they replaced it for free and even installed it. Once they confirmed the failure was not due to my negligence or error, that is.

Well if I were buying only 1 sensor it would have likely been a BMW branded one. Comparing cost it was 400 for Bosch brand o2 vs 1100 for genuine BMW stamped Bosch ones.

I did get BMW Brand vanos solinoids. Trying to figure out now if these include the gaskets. Pictures of the part number seems to show the o ring some places and not show it at others.

Ive never used OE o2 sensors.

No OE makes their own..they ALL buy them from on of the OEMs. As I recall bosh is the OEM. They even come with the E70-specific connectors. Pure OEM play.
