I'm going to remove the head unit to install a hi-low converter for my amp so I will check to see if anything is disconnected. I will probably order a gps antenna if everything looks good and go from there.

GPS will be the blue connector on the back of the CIC. The wire runs to the shark fin where it is also a blue connector. There is an access panel in the headliner area that can access the shark fin wiring.

1. It never worked FOR YOU. Which means you have no idea what might have been done to it between the time the addresses got stored and now. That was my point.
2. Shotgunning parts always a bad idea. Check connections first. Also make sure all your parts are there. Ive run into other cars where sellers have removed stuff before trading in a car. or someone was doing mods and didnt fully 'revert' them at sale |
If it helps, there's a bunch of jobs in tool32 (cicr.prg) that can help diagnose the CIC. Probably in ISTA too.
