this thing was also at the convention center. it's quite roomy inside and is actually much bigger than it looks. based on the 5 series. about the same size as an infiniti FX.

I'm beginning to like the V5 - especially if I can get a 6-spd with the V8. I don't need the room of a 3-row vehicle.

Damn your lucky. Im very surprised it doesnt have the double hump dash and a smaller nav screen. Very bad news. Maybe it wasnt a final version. Maybe it was one of the earlier test mules. I hope it was at least.

You at least could've sneaked a phone pic. while you were there, ( anything is possible if you are sneaky enough ;) ) BTW did you get a chance to see if it did have a navi. touch screen???

Its based on the E60, so until the E60 gets a touchscreen, it won't get a touchscreen...

But maybe you can hope for the F01 to have a touchscreen. Now thats something that could happen..!
