Hey LeMans,

LOL! I was so proud to have found the pic and be the one to post it... Worry not, you're still DA MAN! We owe so much to your contributions...

What do you make out of the shifter? In zooming into the image it looks like it has a reverse L like this "_|" printed on it.

Difficult to say if its _l . Could be optical illusion due to light. Need to see direct shot for shifter.
Where is the 6-disc changer?
Seems like the sushi tray cover is still there to cover the cup holders.

That's def a start button. It even has the alum trim around it like the rest of the bimmers.

Yes and you insert the keyfob next to it. Just like the new 5er with comfort access.

This is a manual trans shifter. I think the E70 lever is close the SMG stye..

I am pointing to the reverse L, in E70's case it may read the usual PRND around the _l
