20 inch snows, from TireRack...may not have this
store in CDA, nor be able to ship to you in YYZ.

Why not get 19 or 18" wheels and snows?
Much better "bite" and the local tire changing
joint won't be hammering your 20" wheels twice
a year.

hmmm well i have a set of 17;s but they look like ass. and i dont mind the tire change, i dont think tis a big deal, but u think the 20s with snows wont grip as much as 18's or 19s?

No expert, but in theory, a narrower width tire will
almost always bite better than a steam roller width tire.

As those 20s don't come in many sizes, it leads you to
settle for that very low profile/wideazz tire, even in a
dedicated snow version.

Yeah, the 17s aren't pretty, espc. compared to 20s...

You must have better tire gorillas there then we do:
the last thing I'd want is some 9 buck an hr guy banging
on my rims twice a year.

No native, but we had an operation in Brampton and I did
a lot of time in YYZ area over 25 years and I never ran into
huge snow storms in the Toronto area; Rochester & Buff, yes.

I'm not promoting 20" summer tires for your winter use, though.

I agree w/David - you're much better off with smaller and skinnier wheels for your snows. I'm not sure if 17's will fit a 4.8, but I think 18's will. I also wouldn't want a tire mounting machine doing it's thing on my rims twice a year either as the probability of damage will be quite high.

Try to use TireRack winter wheel packages. They should have something that will fit. Try to talk to Jim.
