Just got a call from dealer with a bulletin for Mar prod.
No more COMFORT SEATS in Mar prod due to supplier issue...just as we heard it here first on this forum.!

If you order Sports and Premium together normally you would get Comfort seats but now you get Sports seats from Mar on.

In US I understand that you have to pay extra to get Comfort , but doesnt matter now !

Thank God I was lucky to get these Comfort Seats on my Feb prod....with all those that have them saying they are the most comfortable auto seat ever I feel very happy indeed.

I hope for everyones sake they get another supplier and give the benefit of these seats to all.

what do you mean by comfort seats, i haven't heard such an option.

In the US I believe these seats come with the active ventilation package...seats are multi contour 20 way adjustable ....and have neck holsters that conform like on commercial airliners. !

in a brochure that i have it shows a picture of the front seats that look like what you call "comfort seats"; but here they're called "20-way multi-contour seats. please respond.

There are three types of seats for the United States.

Sport: 10-way power front sport seats with 2-way manual thigh support adj. Included with the Sport Package

Active Ventilated Seat: 20-way power multi-contour front seats - includes standard 10-way power seat functions, plus additional power adjustment functions for shoulder and thigh support, backrest width and lumbar support (contour and position), plus 2-way manual lateral adjustment for comfort headrest. Active seat for driver. Front ventilated seats . $2100

Multi-Contour Seats with Lumbar Support: 20-way power multi-contour front seats conform to your body to provide optimum support and exceptional comfort over long distances. In addition to horizontal, vertical and angled adjustments, multi-contour seats include an articulated upper backrest, backrest width, Comfort headrest (two-way power, two-way manual "relax headrest"), and four-way lumbar support. Both driver's and front passenger's seats include memory function. $1200. (commonly called "comfort seat")

i all the 20-ways the comfort seats adjust,
but what are the ten ways on the sport seats? that excludes lumbar, no?

I think it may exclude 2-way lumbar, but adds 2-way thigh support. But that's just a guess. :dunno:

10-way means power right?

2 - cushion forward/back
2 - cushion up/down
2 - cushion tilt up/down
2 - seatback recline
2 - ??? (is the thigh support powered now? like on the E60s)
excluding
4 - lumbar up/down and in/out

no it's manual."... seats with 2-way manual thigh support..." But then we're left with 12.
Is Lumbar only 2-way? I thought it was 4-way, too.
