Yes, Aux ventillation is in the US manual, but that only removes hot air at a predetermined time, latent heat has an accumulator that stores engine heat for up to two days. Rest simple uses whatever heat in in the coolant and runs the waterpump and fan so the the heater core can be used to warm the cabin. Aux ventillation does not run the water pump, so it will not heat the cabit - only remove interior air and replace it with outside air.

Yes, the E70 does have the Parked Car Ventilation option.

Page 110 of the owners manual covers it. This allows you to purge the air in the car twice a day at times you select.

Start Menu > Climate > Parked Car Operation > Automatic Ventilation > Parked Car Ventilation

I remember buying my 2001 X5 3.0 and learning it was only included in the 4.4 model. I was so ticked!! It would be nice to vent out that hot air in the summer before you get in the car after work.

Turn off car, remove key.
Press: "Fan" (UP). the display will say "rest"
I'm pretty sure it will recycle the heat for about 10 mins.

Did anyone meet the following problem?

I'm setting up time via I-drive in the everning (22-23:00) to the morning 7:00. And the heater does not running in that time.

Is there any priority between Timer 1 and Timer 2?

Cant tell you for sure, but my understanding is that BMW does not allow two timers to be ran twice in a row without you actually starting up your vehicle.
They claim that this function eats up alot of power and its best to have the battery refreshed before the timer runs for second time.

There is a lot of time approx 11 hours between the time of setting (20:00) and the time of set up (7:00) - the whole night, so the battery refreshment is out of scope, I guess
