Automatic Tailgate

BMW just informed all dealers that the automatic tailgate option has been removed for all 2007 BMW X5’s.

BMW Canada told me directly that it was due to a parts shortage.

Are you 100% sure ?
Do you know if this will be for all Word Wide X5 ?

Any chance that will make taht option available to some countries ?

I have never seen a need for a power latch...just pull down! It's not that heavy! :)
