It is in german.The winner is ML.

Their numbers do not support the conclusion - but they were comparing deisels and they do say the the X5 is optimized for no road. I agree, I would not take a unibody car offraoding - that is for a good ladder frame Jeep, Defender Landcruiser or Nissan. But that is not what we buy of X5's for.

Mercedes GL is a great car...
but to be honest...I will choose the X5 :)

Autozeitung also did a comparo between ML, X5 and Q7. There results:
First place: X5
Second place: Q7
Third place: ML

After reading the article and not knowing any German... I have decided the X5 is way hotter!

ml faster

if x5 3.0, 3.0d vs ml350, ml350cdi. X5 better 98%.
x5 4.8 vs ml 500. X5 better 100%.
but if x5 4.8 vs ml 63. Ml 63 better 100%

so we need M X5? :D

BMW is listening...they're just going to be late to the starting line but will be first at the finish line ;)

I don't think BMW would make an ///M sport ute. It's against who they are. But I am expecting a 450+ hp X5 in the future... :)

i think it will be great car, if only amg will not make 600 hp:smokin:. like was e55 and after m5 they made e63... :explode:

The ML Is a nice car, I like it but it is no X5, even the old X5 drove better (I test drove a 2006 and liked how mine drove better)

did you test ml 63? i dont know anybody who changed ml63 to x5...but i know who changed from x5 to ml 63
