Tobacco leather discontinued?
 

Apparently there is a bulletin of 2/14 for removal of tobacco leather, both nevada and napa till further notice.

We just picked up our black sapphire/tobacco nappa/bamboo 4.8i today. It's a shame it's been discontinued... it's BEAUTIFUL.

Wellll... I had really hoped to but we only got it a few hours ago so it's been dark out and it's pouring down rain here in lovely southwestern Ohio! :banghead:

I tried to take a few but none of them turned out very well... it's just too dark! Naturally, it's going to be all dirty now when I DO get to take pictures (HOPEFULLY tomorrow) because the salt on the roads is mixing with the rain.

Hopefully I will get a chance to get some before it's dark tomorrow! Sorry to keep you hanging!

i have tobacco napa comfort seats on order, which went in about 10-12 days ago..dealer was told that day by bmw this was the only avail combo for tobacco. tobacco nevada was already discontinued, and tobacco was not available on standard seats.
i called bmwusa rep yest to check order status and asked about tobacco.
she says tobacco nevada unavailable until may production, and tobacco napa only available thru march production. (i assume this means it will be discontinued). she gave me march 23 completion date, and assured me my tobacco order is in OK time frame.
now, i am not sure if my completion date = production date or not.
therefore i am not sure that an order taken today , feb 21, would still be in time frame to get tobacco.

I have a 3.0si on order with tobacco napa with the sport seats that went in about 10 days ago. i assume that this will make it in production prior to the cutoff. where do i get the 1-800# to call to determine exactly what my production comp date will be?

get the production # from your dealer and call 1-800-831-1117. follow the menu and ask for a live service rep for best service.
let us know what they tell you also. thanks!
