What are you guys getting? If you could also please include city / hwy driving %s as well as odometer reading...greatly appreciated.

I know its not what you wanted to hear but I just did a trip up the coast in my E53 3.0d and averaged 7.5 l/100km (32 mpg)!

I best you guys can't wait for the diesel!;)

I have the 3.0 and am up to about 1,800 miles. I am averaging 17.2 MPG. My daily commute is mixed city/highway a little more heavily slanted toward the city portion.

3.0si 1800 miles
17.0 around city 18 on a trip from L.A. to Vegas

3.0 with 2500 miles - 24mph on highway. 20mph with 50/50 city and highway.

...good topic! I have a 3.0si on the way and am curious about this as well. Could I also chime in and ask those who respond to indicate whether the mpg figures quoted are calculated manually at fill ups, or as determined by the OBC?

3.0 with 1200 miles. Avg 18.8mpg in Cincinnati. Primarily highway miles

4.4 here - 20mpg short runs and town. Recent long drive 22-23mpg. (cruise on a lot)
